Mortgages
Members have been active in:
- drafting mortgage and security documentation,
- reviewing documentation, promotions and procedures for compliance with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, MCOB, and the FPO,
- advising on the scope of activities requiring FSA authorisation,
- litigating cases of undue influence and breach of fiduciary duty.
- advising on applications to the Treasury by entities seeking exemption from the general prohibition in the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.

Insurance
Members advise on:
- compliance with ICOB
- issues arising from the sale of PPI, and challenges by FOS, the FSA, and the Competition Commission

Debt collection
