Karen Taylor
Karen read law at the University of Greenwich and was called (Inner Temple) in 2004.
She specialises in consumer law, in particular in the area of trading standards.
Karen qualified as a Trading Standards Officer in 1991, obtaining a Diploma in Trading Standards whilst working for Newcastle-upon-Tyne City Council. Karen then worked for Surrey County Council Trading Standards between 1998 and 2001. As part of Karen’s pupillage she worked within the Regulatory Affairs Team for J Sainsbury plc. Karen now regularly acts for both Defendants and for regulatory agencies in trading matters.
Karen also has experience in civil litigation involving claims relating to the sale and supply of goods.
Karen has two boys aged 4 and 17. She enjoys running and intends to complete the Great North Run again this year.
